The greatest mysteries are taught not by words but by elimination of concept. Each concept that is eliminated from the mind brings us that much closer to universal attunement.
Too often we think we have to go somewhere to find God, and yet all of God exists at any point. Remember the principle of seeking the bluebird of happiness? They always found it in their own back yard, but they had to go through the many adventures of life, the joys, the disappointments, until they finally realized the truth - that happiness is right where you are. We think it is elsewhere and so we are off-center to our creative self. That is why we say you must accept yourself before you can change certain aspects of your being.
Man is less and less willing to follow blindly the ways of darkness. Not many know a clear way of truth, but they do know that they must make clear decisions from within instead of passively relying on others to do their thinking for them. This is a statement that we are putting more and more trust in ourselves, and that is exactly where it should be - not self as a separate and divided part of the universe, but the self as oneness in the divine sense
